This guide walks you through how to deploy Fraud.net’s Email AI to Outlook 365. Once deployed, the add-in will help evaluate the riskiness of the sender and message of every email you receive. Please note, in order to deploy a Microsoft Add-in, you must be an admin on your Microsoft account. If you aren’t sure of your role, go to admin.outlook.com for more information.
First, visit the Microsoft App Source store and search for Fraud.net or click this link directly. Here you will find a description of the product and other helpful information. To get started, click the blue “Get It Now” button in the top left corner.
You will then be prompted to review and agree to Microsoft’s terms and privacy settings. Make sure you are signed in as admin at this time and select Continue.
Microsoft will then automatically take you to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. After a moment or two, the screen to begin the deployment process will appear. Click next to continue.
This screen allows you to designate which users can utilize the add-in and how they will access it. Please note, you can update these settings at any time directly from the admin portal.
ASSIGN USERS
By default, “Everyone” is selected, which gives all users within your domain access. If you prefer only specific users or groups within your domain to use this add-in, select the second option and type in their corresponding names. The third option, “Just me”, makes the add-in accessible to just you.
DEPLOYMENT METHOD
By default, the add-in deployment method is Fixed. This means all assigned users can access the add-in from their Outlook Ribbon and can not remove it. This is the most user-friendly option and what we recommend.
Available lets each user see the Add-in under the Admin-managed tab and can install at their discretion.
Optional deploy the add-in to the designated users, but each user can remove the add-in at their own discretion.
After assigning users and selecting the deployment method, click the blue Deploy button at the bottom of your screen.
Your add-in has been deployed! Microsoft may take up to 12 hours for the add-in to be available in your Outlook instance. Look for an email confirmation when the add-in is ready to use.
