An overview of the features in Email AI
This guide will demonstrate how to use Fraud.Net's Email AI features.
1. Turning on Email AI add on
Our first feature will be activating the Email Shield add-in by clicking on the shield icon on the top right of your email.
Then you will see the results of your scan, showing the email address of the sender, with the option to Trust or Do Not Trust. Directly below you will the risk score, the reasons for the score, message details, and domain information.
2. How to pin Email AI add on
You can also see your results in real-time by clicking on the pin in the top right-hand corner. This will keep Email AI open so you can the results instantaneously.
3. Choosing between Trust or Do not Trust
You choose to Trust the sender if it is one that you are already familiar with. If not you can click on Do Not Trust. Below both options, there is a Risk Score that will show the level of risk to you and the reasons for that score just below.
Options when choosing Trust or Do Not Trust
1. Trust
When choosing Trust, you will see the information that states "Trusting this sender means you know who they are and will continue to do business with them. If their fingerprint changes, we'll alert you."
Also, you will a choice of Tags to select from just below. This will help to easily identify the sender. You may also type in Notes below to further elaborate on why this sender should be trusted.
2. Do Not Trust
When choosing Do Not Trust, you will see the information that states "Untrusting this sender means you don't know who they are or do not wish to do business with them. If their fingerprint changes, we'll alert you."
Also, you will a choice of Tags to select from just below. This will help to easily identify the sender. You may also type in Notes below to further elaborate on why this sender should be trusted.
Domain Information
Email AI will show whether a company was able to be verified under the Risk Score. If the company was verified you will see the Domain Information. If the company was not verified then no Domain Information will be displayed.
SMS Authentication
1. How to initiate SMS Authentication
If you wish to use SMS Authentication when deciding on whether to trust a sender you click on the SMS Authentication icon at the bottom (as shown).
You will now be able to enter a phone number to where the text message will be sent. You can create the SMS Message that the sender will receive. The sender will have the option to either replay YES, NO, or STOP to opt-out. The sender will now have the option to either decline or accept.
Below you will see an option named Expiry Time, where you can decide how many hours you would like the message to be active until it expires.
When the sender chooses YES an email message will appear stating that the sender has replied YES.
